Something for Everyone

This legacy program is designed to sustain Shalom Cares’ commitment to Honor Our Mothers and Our Fathers. Many years ago, dedicated members of Denver’s Jewish community invested in the dream of Shalom Park. Preserving that dream for the future is now up to us.

How can you support the mission of Shalom Cares? Consider a bequest in your will, or list Shalom Cares as a beneficiary of your trust, retirement account, or life insurance policy. We are also able to establish Charitable Gift Annuities. It is advisable to consult your financial advisor regarding benefits and tax implications.

Acknowledging someone’s Yahrzeit, the Hebrew anniversary of a person’s death, is a widely held observance in Judaism. At Shalom Cares, we recite each week’s Yahrzeit list during our regular Shabbat Services. Our Yahrzeit program will help you honor the Yahrzeit of a family member or friend. Please contact us if you would like to receive a letter notifying you of a Yahrzeit.

Every year Shalom Cares holds an annual fundraising event to benefit the residents of the Shalom Park Nursing Home. More than 70% of the residents are unable to pay for the care they receive. Proceeds from our annual event help provide care for all the residents of the Shalom Park Nursing Home.
